My journey in design: A lifelong passion

Blessed with life's opportunities, I continue to live my dream as a Design Architect, Interior Designer, Project Manager, and Graphic Designer. Discover the path that led me here, fueled by creativity and a commitment to excellence.

The genesis of a designer's dream

My passion for design was ignited early, with P.E., Art, and English being my favorite subjects. This creativity found its first outlet as a Sales and Creative Manager for a Printery in Jamaica, where I experienced the joy of fulfilling clients' needs, from wedding invitations to marketing materials. Arranging and playing with colors, fonts, and materials was a joy, fueling a desire for more and culminating in the unexpected opportunity to pursue my dream field: Architecture.

From caribbean roots to global perspectives

My formal training began at the Caribbean School of Architecture at the University of Technology (then C.A.S.T.), the first of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean, following the U.K. (R.I.B.A.) system. I then completed my training at the University of Miami School of Architecture, minoring in Urban Design, specifically under the New Urbanism Movement. I've had the privilege to understudy and practice in both Jamaica and the U.S., guided by incredibly talented architects. My favorite learning experience, and advice to all, remains: "Site visits." They offer invaluable knowledge, saving time and money, and fostering joint learning and mutual respect.

25+ years of design innovation

With over 25 years in the field, I've worked across almost every genre, from small to large scale. My projects range from a humble pedestrian bridge in downtown Kingston to New Builds, Renovations, and Interiors for Supermarkets, Head Offices, University Dorms, Churches, Residential Single and Multifamily homes, and Resort Developments. These ventures have honed my expertise in Masonry Block/CMU, ICF, Precast, and Prefabricated panel and frame construction. I'm grateful for these experiences, as they allow me to bring a unique blend of creativity and purposeful strategic thinking to my clients and peers.

"My greatest joy is transforming ideas into spaces that inspire and function beautifully."
